ACES Behavior Services and Autism Programs (BSAP) provides development and support to ACES programs that service students who have demonstrated difficulties in the social, emotional, behavior and academic areas. In order to support educators ACES BSAP staff design, provide training and support the implementation of both individualized and group behavior programs. ACES Mill Road and Whitney High North are examples of the collaborative effort between behavior and educational staff. This effort has resulted in the implementation of a school wide token economy system. Empirical support for the design and implementation of the token procedures utilized in our ACES SED programs is based on a rich history of research in the use of token programs across a variety of environments, e.g., schools, detentions centers, developmental disabilities centers and hospital settings.
